CLUB COACHES

Keith Bradshaw

Chairman & Lead Coach

Keith is a Level 3 British Triathlon coach and Coaching with the Tigers since 2017. He also coaches senior athletes at all levels. In addition, Keith is a registered Swim Teacher (STA) and qualified in nutrition and Personal fitness trainer and runs several courses to promote Fitness and well-being.

 

As an athlete he still competes in a variety of multi-sport events and distances being selected for Team GB in Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon disciplines. Keith is committed to the development of young triathletes and enhancing the skills of youngsters in the club. 

Rebecca Perry

Performance Coach

Becs is a Level 1 British Triathlon coach and has been coaching with the Tigers since 2018.

 

Becs is also a Registered Dietitian with a keen interest in food, sport and health and is passionate about passing this on to the next generation. Becs has 2 Tigers to chase around after and any remaining energy is spent swimming, cycling and running. She has represented Team GB at the World Age Group Triathlon Championships and will compete again this year in the standard distance race.

 

Becs believes that triathlon can offer children and adults fitness benefits and self-fulfilment regardless of their goals. She has a specific coaching responsibility for improving the performance of the older and performance focussed of our athletes.

Nick Turner

Treasurer & Coach

Nick is a qualifying Level 1 British Triathlon coach with a focus on running and bike skills development..

As an athlete Nick competes in a variety of events and distances. 
Nick is also the club treasurer.

Committed to the development of young triathletes and enhancing the skills of youngsters in the club. 

Ian Scott

Leanne Weston

Welfare Officer & Coach

Leanne is a level 1 coach and has been helping/coaching with the club since 2017. She also coaches running session with her local running/triathlon club.

 

In her proper job, day to day Leanne runs two successful preschools so has lots of experience with young children and is trained in safeguarding, first aid and behaviour management.

 

As an athlete Leanne competes in a variety of multi-sport and running events and has completed a variety of distances including sprint, Olympic and middle-distance triathlons. She has also been fortunate enough to run London marathon.

Leanne is responsible for the welfare and safeguarding of the children who attend the club and enjoys seeing all the youngsters grow and progress within the club.

Ciara Blackstock

DevelopmentCoach

From a running background Ciara started triathlon about 15 years ago at Bristol university competing at age group sprint distances. Since she has completed a huge variety of triathlon events including Boulder Ironman and Snowdon marathon.

A Science teacher for last 15 years Ciara coaches track, cross country running and hockey after school and still plays competitive hockey for Marlborough.

 

Ciara believes that coaching youngsters allows her to impart my enthusiasm for the sport and shows that you don’t need to be really competitive to get years of enjoyment from a sport with such variety.

Ciara has a specific coaching responsibility developing the clubs younger and less experienced triathletes with a focus on core skills development.

Nikki McAllister

Club Secretary

Nikki has been with the club since it’s foundation and key to its Bronze accreditation status.  She is the primary point of contact for all of the Club’s administration activities.

Coach

Ian is a Level 1 British Triathlon coach and focussed on Swimming development within the club.  He is STA registered and an experienced swim coach for both development and performance.

As an athlete Ian competes in a variety of multi-sport events and distances being selected for Team GB in Triathlon and Aquathlon disciplines and gaining a silver medal in this year’s European championships.

Committed to the development of young triathletes and enhancing the skills of youngsters in the club. 

Gary Bruce

Coach

Gary is coach with the focus on bike skills development within the club. An outstanding off-road cyclist who runs a number of courses and events throughout the year. Gary has an excellent understanding of the key skills for young developing cyclists.

 

Gary is also an outdoor activities leader and ski instructor.  He is also a canoe instructor.
